Tom Moggach is a qualified and experienced primary teacher, with many years of experience working in inner-city schools. He has run food growing courses for more than a hundred London schools, both primary and secondary, often on behalf of clients such as Capital Growth and local councils.

Schools often book Tom to deliver INSET sessions, to consult on their growing projects or to help with the design of their plots. He runs a school garden in Camden with his colleague Anna Locke, bringing outdoor learning into the school curriculum.

At Gospel Oak Primary, Tom had a position on the Senior Management Team leading on food policy, which involved setting up an edible garden. He still works as a class teacher on a regular basis - so is familiar with the realities of busy school life and timetables!
